Before building a top-producing real estate career in North Carolina, my life was lived out of a suitcase.
As VP of Sales and Marketing for a vacation ownership company, I spent years relocating across Florida, spending a year in the Cayman Islands, managing operations across six Caribbean islands, and living in Hilton Head, SC. I was logging over 100 flights a year, constantly navigating new real estate markets and lifestyle transitions.
In 2002, everything changed. I married my wife, who lived in Raleigh, NC. I was still commuting back and forth to the Caribbean when 9/11 made travel a daily nightmare, signaling that it was finally time to stop traveling and put down permanent roots.
We decided to build a brand-new home in Apex, and experienced firsthand what far too many buyers face: our real estate agent's communication was terrible. We were making one of the biggest financial investments of our lives, yet we were constantly left in the dark.
